  1. Ryan calling in is really tough to deal with. It goes from listenable, to completely incomprehensible, to listenable. Is Ryan calling from outerspace? From underwater? Having your buddy come in is great, but not when it makes the episode tough to consistently follow. 2 hours of that is really painful.

    1. We took an unintentional hiatus, because everyone’s schedules werent alligning and Mason took a trip to Canada. We just recorded a new episode which will be up later today, and hopefully we will get back to recording regularly. I think at this point we are looking to produce an episode every 2-ish weeks, going forward.

  3. On the 10 Lightning Bolts issue: In my peasant cube, I have a no strictly better cards and no functional reprint cards policy. By not playing Lightning Bolt, I have a whole range of different flavors of burn spells that don’t look horrible compared to Lightning Bolt because there is no Lightning Bolt.

  4. Hey guys – love the podcast! I saw you recently cut Docent of Perfection from your cube. If you’re in the market for a blue 5, I have an unpowered 450 and Glyph Keeper has been an unexpected house.

Mason, I recently added Delver of Secrets after listening to you fight for him.. and he has been putting in the finest of work.

I would love to see episodes on rotisserie drafting or the meta that has evolved in your specific cube. Or maybe the most busted cards in a legacy-style cube.

Thanks a ton for the content guys!

    1. I’m sorry for the major delayed response. Our schedules have been wacky lately, and it’s been very hard to get together and produce more content and keep up with the cast page. Anyways, enough excuses; Thanks for listening, first and foremost! I am interested in Glyph Keeper, just havent given it a test run yet. I’m in the process of revamping the cube quite a bit, which will be reflected during an episode in the near future.

I’m really glad Delver is pulling in some work for you! I’m sure he would do great things in mine, just not sure I can give into Mason’s whims. 🙂

We have talked about doing an episode or two on rotisserie and other draft variants. Those are some great requests though, and we’ll be sure to give them some discussion! Thaknks again for listening, It means a lot to us, more than we can express.

      Keep winning games,
      Josh
